The new Panasonic HPX250 P2 HD camera offers the robust AVC-Intra 100 studio quality recording format for the first time in a palmcorder. Great for color correction and grading, effects compositing and heavy motion applications, AVC-Intra 100 is up to the task due to its full raster resolution, 10-bit color depth, 100Mbps bit rate, 4:2:2 color space and I-Frame structure. The HPX250 also records in DVCPRO HD, AVC-Intra 50(twice the record time), and even DVCPRO 50 and DVCPRO SD formats for ultimate flexibility. Other features include a 22x HD zoom lens for amazing reach(28mm-616mm 35mm equivalent), 1080x1920 imagers, high resolution LCD display with waveform/vectorscope, HD-SDI, HDMI and composite video outputs, time code in/out, genlock in, off-speed recording, P2 Native frame rate recording in 720P and 1080p, 20-bit DSP(Digital Signal Processor) for precise control of camera image parameters, Cine gamma and matrix options, time lapse and cache recording modes. The HPX250 packs a lot of punch in a hand held camcorder!
