The amazing Sony PMW-EX1 XDCAM EX is the most affordable full raster, native 1080X1920 HD Camera available, yielding unsurpassed resolution and detailed imagery in a camcorder. Every pixel of information of the three 1/2" CMOS imagers is recorded onto the XDCAM EX format, using SxS memory cards for fast, convenient file based recording and transfers. The EX1 features a 14X Fujinon HD lens, HD SDI output, sharp LCD display, picture profiles with film gammas, matrix, detail, knee controls, 720 and 1080 resolution, 24P, 30P and 60i frame rates. Time lapse and variable frame rates for slow and fast motion allow for creative, flexible HD image capture. The EX1 is Sony's lowest cost CineAlta badged camera, following in the footsteps of the well known, revolutionary F900 HDCAM 24 frame film like camera series, with the added advantage of not limiting horizontal resolution to 1440 pixels. Full 1080X1920 HD images are now available at a cost unimaginable just a few years ago.

The EX1 works very well with our popular Letus Ultimate 35mm Cine adapters, offering selective focus similar to 35mm motion picture cameras, great edge to edge sharpness and true 1080/24p film like images.
